If your vehicle does not currently have roof bars fitted or you're unsure if your current roof bars are suitable, please get in touch and we can advise on and supply a suitable roof bar system.
A fully refundable £400 security deposit is required prior to collection.
The deposit will be refunded following inspection of the tent and equipment upon return, subject to the hire terms being met.

Pets
Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but must not be left unattended in the tent. Please note that a the fabric pet ladder steps are not included , only standard ARB ladder.
Vehicle Suitability
The customer is responsible for ensuring their vehicle is suitable for carrying a roof tent and complies with the manufacturer’s roof load limits. ALTVAN reserves the right to refuse installation if a vehicle is deemed unsuitable.
Collection & Return
Hire periods commence and end at the agreed collection and return times.
Late Returns
Late returns will incur a charge of £50 per day, or part thereof.
Cleaning
The tent must be returned in a reasonably clean and tidy condition.
A £25 cleaning charge will apply if the tent requires excessive cleaning upon return.
Damage, Loss & Theft
The hirer is responsible for any damage, loss, theft, misuse, or neglect of the roof tent and associated equipment during the hire period.
Repair or replacement costs may be deducted from the security deposit where applicable.
Weather Conditions
The roof tent is designed for normal camping use and typical UK weather conditions. The hirer is responsible for ensuring the tent is used safely and appropriately according to prevailing weather conditions.
Smoking
Smoking and vaping inside the roof tent are strictly prohibited.
Wet Returns
Where possible, the tent should be returned dry. If weather conditions prevent this, please notify us upon return so appropriate drying procedures can be carried out.
Insurance
The hirer is responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance cover for any accessories fitted to their vehicle during the hire period.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the hire start date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the hire start date will be subject to a partial refund.
