We've spent years in the motor trade, mostly under German vans with spanners in hand - the kind of work where cutting corners just means you'll be fixing it twice. We kicked off ALTVAN building camper conversions - and we've built some pretty brilliant ones, too - but we've decided to play to our strengths and shift focus back to what we know best: keeping vans running right and kitting them out properly.
Meet The Team
Sam
Director & Founder
Sam's had a long boring career as a commercial vehicle technician before building leisure vehicles.
Fresh out of college he jumped into an apprenticeship with Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles working on everything from Unimogs to Arocs and whole lot of Sprinters.
He ended his career as an MB tech on a high, 10 years later as a qualified Master Tech.
Vanya
Operations Manager
After gaining her Level-3 Vehicle Technician qualification, she started out in the motor industry as a technician for BMW, then moved into vehicle parts working with brands such as Ford & Mercedes-Benz. Being our front of house Queen, she's the warm welcome, the easy talker and she knows her stuff.
Steve
Director & Accounts
Steve's the guy that makes sure ALTVAN doesn't descend into chaos. With decades of experience running a thriving home improvements business, he knows how to keep things moving. When he's not runnig the show here, he's spreading Christmas cheer as a professional Santa Claus (yes, beard and all)
Dizi
Head of Security
(and snacks)
As Steve would put it, Dizi is a good girl lovely girl. She looks scary as heck but she has the temperament of a golden-retriever. Unfortunately she still has the energy of a Malionois but we've got that under control.
